  1. With two young children, I had pets there whole life: cats, fish, turtles, rats, hamsters and now we have 2 little dogs (a pug and a shi-tzu) The best is: I tell everybody I have pets for the children, but instead I have them for myself. On the couch with tea and a dog is the best medicine in the winter..

  2. We have 3 dogs...yes, three. All three rescues and all 3 a big pain in the patootie. But, we love 'em all because they love us. That is what is so amazing about animals their ability to love us no matter the circumstance. Thanks for a chance to win!

  3. That puppy in your kit is adorable! Right now we have two dogs, but over the years we've had even more dogs, a rabbit and fish. What I love about my dogs is the unconditional love. What I love about pets in general is that they teach us to care. Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. We also have 3 beautiful dogs (1 small, 1 medium and 1 large and all a handful but so loving and so funny) and a big, beautiful stray cat that adopted us 10 years ago after our first sweet little old cat dad of leukemia. I think that sweet old cat is an angel because he knew we needed him at that time as much as he needed a home. We will be forever grateful that he found and chose us and I am forever grateful, grateful every day for the unconditional love, joy and fun we receive from all of our pets; they are truly members of our family and I don't know what I would do without them!

  5. Oh I just love my little zoo :) We currently are owned by a 5-1/2 yr old Boxer, a new 13 week old baby Boxer puppy, a 9 yr old kitty and three, yes three 2 yr old rats :) What I LOVE about all of my animals is the unconditional love they show for me and my family. If you're mad or feeling down, they won't desert you they stay and listen, might not be able to give advice, but they are always there and they do their darndest to try to heer you up that is for sure ;)

  6. Another adorable creation :) Domestic pets of any variety are so important in our society & our personal lives. I grew up around horses, cats & dogs and love them so much for their steadfast unconditional love and the sunshine/happiness they bring into our daily lives. Not only can they bring a smile to the saddest face (adult or child), but they give so much of themselves for our happiness & safety. They are even a godsend to those single people who may not have any family left in their lives to share special moments with or someone suffering sickness. They bring us health, happiness & safety. Our pets throughout mine and my families lives have always been one of the family and have brought so much into our lives ... those special moments that will forever be a part of our hearts :)

  7. Pets are God's gift to the lonely, the playful child, the men & women who need help performing everyday tasks and to families big or small. Pets sense our feelings, are ready to play with us at a moments notice, meet us at the door when we return home and besides who can resist those big sad eyes looking up to you.

  9. We love animals so much that even though we vowed not to get anymore dogs after losing both of ours within a couple of months of each other. There was a posting for an elderly dog that needed a home or she would have to be put to sleep. We didn't want to see that happen and at the same time our son was only 4 so we knew he would be devastated if the dog didn't live long. We took Molly in right after Thanksgiving 2010 and just buried her on Jan. 9, 2012. We had her for only 13 1/2 months. Our hearts are broken but we know she was loved for the last 13 1/2 months of her life. Luckily we still have our two cats who we just lavish more love on.

  11. I have a cat and a dog. My cat is a total daddy's girl and my dog is a total momma's girl! My dog is simply my best buddy. She can tell when I'm sad or sick and she won't leave my side. My dog is always there for me and I adore her!

  12. The best thing about pets is their constant love and devotion. No matter the feelings I have that day my dog and horses (all 5 of them) are there to hug and listen. They listen without comment, without telling me I am silly or stupid, or that something is hopeless. They are the one true thing I can depend on to be there. To drive up in the driveway and see the dog do her happy dance just makes me grin knowing that there's someone at home that can't wait to see me.

  13. The best thing I love about my doggie children is that no matter how bad my day has been they love me and greet me at the door with their cheesy grins and their dances of joy and barks to let me know they missed me. They snuggle with as we watch tv and when it is time for bed they let me know. They are my alarm clock and my security system. They make my life complete as I can't have children. They amaze me! sharonrlowery@gmail.com

  14. I don't know what I would do without my manx kitty, Sasha. She is myconstant companion. She follows me around like a puppy, and she talks to me all the time. She makes me laugh even when I'm feeling sad. She comforts me and makes me feel needed and wanted. I can't imagine life without her. I've always loved cats, but Sasha is the one I've loved the most. I live alone, so she makes a HUGE difference in my life. I would be lost without her. Thank you so very much for the opportunity to win.

  15. I have got such a big heart for animals - there is always place for another one. I have 8 cats. Most of them orphaned or abandoned who I took in "temporarily" but inevitably they crept into my heart and have become my fur babies. I also have 4 dogs who are my everything. I cannot imagine life without the unconditional love of a fur baby. They make you feel so special when they greet you as though they haven't seen you for years instead of the 5 min it took to go and buy a loaf of bread. I believe pets are angels in disguise - put here on earth purely for our pleasure and happiness.
